It works its magic by making everything it goes on more delicious in a deep, savory, nutty, umami way. You combine toasted walnuts, olives, miso, a dusting of oregano, and a dollop of tahini into a chunky condiment of sorts. The tahini lends just the right hint of creaminess.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.101cookbooks.com\/walnut-miso-magic-sauce-2.jpg?w=620&amp;auto=format\" alt=\"walnut olive miso sauce in a small white bowl on a marble counter\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Walnut Olive Miso Magic Sauce: Ideas<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">When I say this boosts <em>everything<\/em>, I mean pasta and crackers, salads and soups, tarts and toasts. You think something is good? A dollop (or more!) of this will make it better. Some ideas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">A little dollop as a finishing touch on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/deviled-eggs\/\">deviled eggs<\/a> is really great.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">You like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/sea-salt-baked-potatoes\/\">baked potatoes<\/a>? Or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/smashed-skillet-potatoes\/\">skillet smashed potatoes<\/a>? Or, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/perfect-mashed-potatoes\/\">perfect mashed potatoes<\/a>? This makes them even better.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">I often do a spicy drizzle to finish my favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/cabbage-soup\/\">cabbage soup<\/a>. That said, finishing off a bowl with a bit of this magic sauce is a fantastic alternate plan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/simple-bruschetta\/\">Bruschetta<\/a> + this = so much yum.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Drizzled over a platter of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/how-to-cook-artichokes\/\">pan-blistered artichoke hearts<\/a> is also a good move.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">MT in the comments mentions, \u201cI <span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial;font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif\">roasted cauliflower and fennel bulb and drizzled this sauce on top.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Variations<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">This is the sort of thing that is also quite flexible. You can make it with hazelnuts, or pine nuts, or even toasted almonds. I even make it with green olives and then stir it into farro for a quick meal. Delish!
